SOLA Soho
I worked with Victor Garvey, Chef Patron of SOLA Soho, to further develop a brand experience that mirrored the precision and poise of their Michelin-starred dining. The challenge was to capture the quiet luxury that defines the restaurant – a balance of craft, calm and confidence.
We developed a refined visual language that translated these qualities across every touchpoint: from refining their interiors, building out new brand elements across the space to coincide with the newly opened basement dining space, tactile menus, chocolate boxes, bags, and a streamlined, minimal web experience.
Working closely with photographers, I also directed a suite of imagery designed to convey the tone and texture of the SOLA experience – intimate, elegant and deeply considered. Each element was crafted to create a sense of quiet theatre, aligning the brand with the artistry found in every plate served.My approach was to build a seamless ecosystem of design and content that extended the restaurant’s atmosphere beyond its walls. The website acts as an elegant introduction, reflecting the rhythm and refinement of the dining experience through minimal interaction and restrained typography.
In parallel, the brand’s photographic direction established a cohesive visual narrative for press, social and digital use – capturing both the precision of the food and the ambience of the space. From brand identity to art direction and production, every decision was made to translate SOLA’s philosophy of thoughtful simplicity into a unified, enduring brand presence.
